Chevron,and other Refineries : Smoke and Flames billow from behind a tank,that bears the Chevron name,after a fire broke out in the crude two unit of the largest Chevron refinery in the U.S.in Pascagoula,Mississippi on the 16th of August 2007.The fire spewed crude oil into the air and landed on cars,boats,and homes over parts of the Pascagoula area.The good people at Chevron did an efficient,and generous job paying for the vehicles to be cleaned.The Refinery is about to undergo a 550 Million Dollar Expansion which will greatly increase the amount of Gasoline,and other gases refined at the Pascagoula Refinery.This unit will be called the CCR,or Continuous Catalyst Regenerator Unit.The Refinery is also going to build a new PBOP or Pascagoula Base Oil Project.
